Each new generation of students we teach requires different teaching and learning strategies.
If we’re not meeting our students’ needs, it might be time to re-evaluate our teaching methods. With generational changes, it is pertinent to reflect on our practices and understand what is or is not working to create the best learning environment for students.
Generation Z id often referred to as post-millenial, iGeneration and Digital natives. Like every generation, Gen Z has distinct characteristics – especially when it comes to learning.
Their classrooms look different than those of previous generations. They turn to different sources of information than their predecessors. They consume that information and use it in ways that Millennials and Gen Xers never dreamed of. So how can we make sure we support Gen Z learning in the most effective ways possible?
The upcoming session on ‘Gen Z Learners – What Parents and Teachers need to know’ shall enable School leaders / School management teams to gain many wonderful insights from a Gen X Educator about the thought process of the Gen Z learners and the strategies you could use in your classroom to help them succeed in their learning outcomes.
